They are seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. Key Responsibilities : Sales Development : Drive growth across multiple products and freight sales strategies, expanding business in new and existing markets. Business Expansion : Establish and grow new verticals, supporting the company's expansion in Italy. Client Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including sectors like food and beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods. Team Leadership : Support and lead a small, growing sales team, fostering a collaborative and energetic sales culture. Market Growth : Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with flexibility regarding regional focus. Global Collaboration : Leverage support from a global leader to drive new business and enhance the company's international presence. Qualifications : Experience : Strong background in ocean freight; experience in air freight and road transport is beneficial. Specialisation : Experience in verticals such as food and beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods is advantageous. Location : Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with capacity to grow business in local regions.
