Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s leading air treatment brand by production volume, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Pordenone, Italy.
Responsibilities:
Stay current with product launches and transitions to support sales engagement programs, including product and service support.
Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs; establish rapport with customers through product and service knowledge.
Collaborate with various departments such as engineering, purchasing, operations, product management, and quality to support customer needs.
Provide customer information via presentations on new products, project timelines, quality performance, and technical training.
Document market and customer insights and communicate findings to the organization.
Support marketing efforts by evaluating market trends, monitoring regulatory activities, and gathering customer feedback.
Assist team members in achieving KPIs and participate in promotional activities and trade shows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or RD.
Knowledge of Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products and applications.
Excellent communication skills in English and at least one European language.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is advantageous.
Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.
