Responsibilities Recommend wine varieties to guests and enhance their dining experience. Oversee wine service and ensure consistent quality. Collaborate with winemakers to refine the selection and negotiate advantageous pricing. Create and update the wine list in coordination with the Wine Manager. Recommend food and wine pairings based on guests' preferences and menu choices. Provide information on wine varieties, pricing, serving temperature and glassware. Store open bottles correctly to preserve quality. Manage and fully stock the wine cellar. Train wait staff on available wines. Qualifications Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar hospitality role, or experience within a vineyard. Strong ability to craft refined pairings. Extensive knowledge of wines and their regional characteristics. Familiarity with local vineyards and the winemaking process. Excellent communication skills and professional courtesy.
