About the team
The MAI (Merchant Acquisition and Incubation) team's primary objective is to attract and onboard sellers at scale and incubate them to certain levels of growth. Responsibilities include:
1. Strategy — Full ownership of incubating hundreds of SMB partners in the Italian market, including identifying high-potential partners and implementing growth strategies.
2. Partner Communication — Managing channels and communication with partners via calls, messaging, community, and other methods to troubleshoot, escalate issues, and educate sellers.
3. Mass Incubation — Collaborating with small and medium-sized partners to optimize TikTok commerce performance, drive campaign engagement, and scale incubation activities, including identifying scalable methods and managing their rollout.
4. Product and Process Improvement — Conducting deep data analyses to understand business segments, root causes of issues, and opportunities for product and process enhancements.
This role requires frequent travel, approximately 50% between London and Milan.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 1-3 years of experience in mass account management or incubation, managing hundreds of partners.
2. Proficiency in English and Italian, with strong knowledge of the Italian e-commerce landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution, and mobile transformation.
3. Excellent cross-team collaboration skills and project management abilities.
4. Strong data analysis skills; ability to handle complex business insights is a plus.
