Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals.
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop business opportunities leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap.
* Deliver market and product requirements.
* Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
* Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties on partnerships and licensing opportunities.
* Manage beta and discovery programs for new products and samples, overseeing development activities.
* Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise.
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and foster trust among teams.
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote products.
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus.
* Solid experience as a Product Manager/Business Developer in the food & beverage industry (customer or supplier side).
* Proven success in launching components/devices to market.
* Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards.
* Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
* Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
* Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and derive insights.
* Outstanding planning and organizational skills, with adaptability to shifting priorities.
* Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
