Business Development Manager – Oracle position at Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), a part of Arrow Electronics, delivers innovative IT solutions to market to solve complex business challenges. We provide value‑added distribution, business consulting and channel enablement services to leading technology manufacturers and their channel partners. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Italy.
Position
Business Development Manager – Oracle at Arrow is a partner‑specific role responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and identifying future leads within business units. You will work with senior stakeholders to enable growth and provide them with the latest products in the market.
What will you be doing at Arrow ECS?
- Identify new business opportunities – new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
- Ensure execution of sales growth plans and drive results through demand identification and creation opportunities.
- Plan and oversee new business initiatives.
- Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities.
- Develop new markets and improve sales by leveraging Arrow’s portfolio of services.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
- Set goals for the development team and ensure business growth targets are met.
- Analyze and report performance data.
- Monitor pipeline performance.
What We Are Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in IT sales and/or business development.
- Knowledge of Oracle products and services – mandatory.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Proven track record in business development in the distribution market.
- Passion for new technology products and solutions, and understanding of global trends.
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Willingness to travel 3 days per week to client offices.
