Job Description Summary The Product Specialist is responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for their products in the Central Area of Italy. The Product Specialist serves as the clinical, technical, and sales expert for their assigned products, leading opportunities, qualifying customer needs, developing and presenting solution proposals, and responding to customers' clinical, technical, and process questions to successfully close sales. The person will be based in Emilia, Toscana, Marche, or nearby and will cover Central Italy. As a Product Specialist PCS, you will be accountable for: Product & Market Expertise Maintaining up-to-date detailed knowledge of their product/solution. Being able to present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits relevant to customers. Understanding customers' changing clinical and operational issues and challenges. Creating viable product configurations that meet customer needs effectively while achieving optimal margins for GE. Differentiating the assigned product offering during various sales stages, effectively utilizing GE resources and approved marketing materials to support the customer’s decision-making process towards a successful outcome for GE. Representing the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote the product/solution and the company. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's Degree or minimum 3 years of sales/promotion experience in a medical, healthcare, or technical field (e.g., biomedical engineering, medical physics) or Life Sciences. Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers as part of a solutions-based sales approach. Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all organizational levels. Excellent negotiation and closing skills, strong presentation skills. Native Italian speaker, good command of English. The role requires extensive travel. The territory includes Emilia, Toscana, Lazio, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo, and Sardegna.
