ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM The field sales team cultivates strong partnerships with local wedding vendors in Italy. The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to achieve overall new business and revenue renewal targets through successful management and development of their team. This position ensures the team is optimized and meets new business productivity, revenue retention, and customer success activity goals. Responsibilities Be responsible for the day-to-day line management of the team of sales representatives in the Lazio and Toscana area, with overall management support from the Sales Executive Manager. Manage team productivity and KPIs to ensure input metrics translate into revenue outputs. Support and develop team members through active listening, empathy, performance monitoring, and two-way feedback. Mentor team members with online and in-person shadowing and role-playing, providing tailored feedback and development plans to plan for succession within the team. Use data insights to identify issues and propose strategic, team-focused solutions. Travel periodically to meet clients, meet the team, and attend regular meetings at the Barcelona office. Control team costs. Qualifications Based in the Lazio or Toscana area. Minimum of 5 years in Sales. Minimum of X years of experience leading sales teams, with a passion for developing people and promoting ownership. Demonstrated ability to lead with strategic vision, foster team growth, and manage teams effectively. Excellent communication, empathy, active listening, and feedback delivery skills. Ability to analyze data and drive improvements. B2B, SaaS, and SMB-specific sales experience preferred.
