Summary:

As a Global Business Developer, you'll drive the worldwide commercial growth and strategic development of your product portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with customers and sales teams to identify market needs and opportunities, as well as with engineering teams to ensure product-market fit. The position reports to the Vice President of Product Management.

The Role:

1. Market Analysis and Product Strategy:

1. Conduct research to evaluate market drivers, trends, key stakeholders, and overall market potential.
2. Shape the development strategy for the product line by proposing new product features and development needs.
3. Develop and present business cases to support investment in product development.
4. Prioritize and coordinate product roadmap activities alongside engineering teams.

2. Enabling Commercial Success:

5. Create impactful marketing materials, such as datasheets and sales presentations.
6. Train the organization on product applications, market insights, and key technologies.
7. Provide support for sales teams in product selection, presentations, and tender submissions.
8. Represent and promote the product portfolio at trade shows, industry events, webinars, and customer visits.

Requirements:

9. Educational Background: Degree in electrical, electrotechnical, power electronics, or marine engineering. Alternatively, a business degree with practical engineering expertise gained in an industrial or engineering company working with advanced electrotechnical or electromechanical products.
10. Experience:
11. At least 7 years in an electrotechnical or electromechanical product-focused company, preferably in the maritime or offshore industries.
12. 3-5 years in roles such as Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Development, application engineering, or technical sales support, with proven skills in market research, customer engagement, and developing product marketing materials.
13. Skills: Outstanding communication abilities (clear, concise, and impactful), fluency in English, and a results-driven, proactive mindset.
