MPProfessional,incollaborationwithamultinationalcompanyspecializedinindustrialpackaging,logisticsanddigitalsolutionsworldwide, islookingforanexperiencedanddrivenBusinessDevelopmentManagertojoinadynamicteam.

ThiskeyrolewillberesponsibleforexpandingourcustomerbaseintheEmilia-Romagnaarea,leveragingindustryexpertiseandastrongprofessionalnetwork.Theidealcandidatehasapassionforindustrialpackagingsolutionsandiseagertocontributetotheclient’smissionofdeliveringsustainablepackaginginnovations.

Youwillcreatebusinessopportunitieswithnewcustomers,identifytheirongoingneedsandprovidecompletepackagingsolutions(CPS)andservicestomeetthoseneeds.Identifyanddevelopnewrevenuestreamswithinexistingaccountsfollowingthestart-upphaseofbusiness.


MainResponsibilities:

* IdentifyanddevelopnewbusinessopportunitieswithintheEmilia-Romagnaregion
* Leverageexistingclientcontactsandactivelyprospectnewcustomers
* Growanewportfolioofaccounts,ensuringlong-termpartnerships
* Collaboratewithinternalteamstotailorsolutionsbasedoncustomerneeds
* Analyzemarkettrendsandcompetitorstooptimizesalesstrategies
* Prepareandpresentcompellingproposalstoclients
* Negotiatebusinessagreementsonaregularbasisincludingpriceagreementtermsandconditions
* Regularandproactivecommunicationwithcustomerbase
* Initiateandprovideadministrativesupportanddocumentsasnecessarytofacilitateorderprocessing,booking,shipment,installation,acceptance,invoicing,andpayment
* AssistincollectionofpayablesasneededuponrequestfromAccounting
* Generatenewopportunitiescallingonexistingcustomersand/orfollowinguponincomingleads.
* Increasegrossmarginswhereapplicable
* Appliesaconsultativeapproachtoallcustomercontactsfromowner-leveltoC-levelleaders
* Appointmentsetting,onlinecollaborativeandin-personmeetingswithpotentialandexistingclients
* Articulateclients’scompletepackagingsolution(CPS)andservices
* Resolvecustomerissuesinatimelyandpositivemanner
* Drivesthedevelopmentandimplementationofnewsolutionsasadditionalproductorserviceopportunitiesarisewithinnewandexistingcustomerbase:
* FollowClientsalesprocessindraftingandpresentingnewproductandserviceproposals.
* Examinecustomerspecificationsandprepareproposalsthatfulfillcustomerrequirements.
* CoordinatewithClientEngineeringCenterregardingdesignrequirements.
* AdherestoandcomplieswithClient’sprocessesincludingopportunitycreationandpipelinemanagement,quoting,ordermanagement,purchasing,etc.
* EvaluateandqualifyleadopportunitiesandenterleaddataintoCRM,asapplicable
* Maintainawarenessofcompetitor’ssaleseffortsandprogramsinthebranchterritory
* ConductsallbusinesstransactionswithDivisionalandCompanygoalsinmind.
* ProtectClient’sbestinterestsinallcustomerandprospectiveaccounts.
* UseallreasonableeffortstosellClientproductsandservices.
* Accomplishesalltasksasappropriatelyassignedorrequested.


ExperienceandEducationRequirements:

* DegreeinPackaging,Business,Marketing,Logistics,SupplyChainManagement,orMechanicalEngineeringorequivalentexperience
* 3+yearsofexperienceinSalesposition
* 2+YearsSalesExperienceinaProjectManagercapacityorsellingtoindustrialcustomers
* 3-5yearsofexperienceinindustrialpackaging(B2Benvironment)isamust
* Leadershipexperienceinafast-pacedenvironmentisaplus
* Understandingofprinciplesofproductcostingandpricing
* SolidunderstandingofQualityManagementSystemsandProcedures
* Demonstratedabilitytoidentifyandsolvecomplexcustomerproblems
* Salesorbusinessdevelopmentexperiencewithanyofthefollowing:
* Industrial,transport,orexportpackagingservices
* Woodcrating&pallets
* Foam,corrugated,PEBags,etc.
* SupplyChain,Logistics,Warehousing,orInventoryControl
* ThirdPartyPackagingand/orContractPackagingServices
* Salesexperienceinheavyindustriesand/orautomotive,telecom,defense,military,energy.
* FluentinEnglish,bothwrittenandverbal
* Abilitytoread,analyzeandinterpretthemostcomplexlegalandfinancialdocuments
* Abilitytobeabletocommunicateclearlyandeffectivelytoallemployees,customer,andvendors
* Abilitytobeabletomakeeffectivepersuasivepresentations
