Ph3Resume Of The Position /h3 pThis position reports to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for achieving Sales targets in the respective Area and directing the activities of the region’s sales force, in line with strategies and plans, which are consistent with the organisation’s overall Sales Target. /p h3Major Responsibilities Include /h3 ul liLiaise with her/his Sales Force and Head of Sales regarding market potential within the region. /li liPrepare sales forecasts as requested. /li liPropose and implement action plans, which ensure that the sales goals are attained or exceeded. /li liSupervise and evaluate activities of assigned Territory Managers, providing advice, counsel, guidance and feedback to achieve the established objectives of the region. This includes co-travelling with direct reports. /li liEstablish a growth path for each TM supported by Company Tools (ex: performance management). /li liLiaise with management across the organisation to ensure that sales objectives and activities are integrated with other parts of the business. /li liInterpret and ensure policy compliance by direct report within assigned region. /li liEnsure the discount policy compliance for the sales orders /li liReview and analyse her/his region sales reporting to the Sales Director any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies, which negatively or positively affect regional sales. Advise about and insure that corrective action is implemented. /li liConduct regular meetings to ensure constant communication and consistent application of company sales strategy, policies etc. with her/his sales force to respond to region issues. /li liMaintain periodic contact with key customers in the region to ensure that proper sales service support is provided. /li liVerify the product knowledge of his/her team and ensure that the team communicate properly and correctly all the product features to the clients /li liMake sure of the collaboration across the Company departments /li liResponsible in conjunction with HR for recruitment, selection and performance reviews process of direct reports within the assigned region. /li liPursue and visit major prospects, potential customers, major key customers to build up and/or maintain the business relationship as well as negotiate terms of sales that will maximize the region business interest. /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liEducated to bachelor’s degree level, the successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of professional experience, with a progressive track-record. /li liA Dental/Life Sciences industry background would be an asset. /li liThe person ideally has an experience such as bioengineering, pharmacy, science (biology), medical technology and key accounting. /li liExperience from working in the field is a must /li liExperience and comfort in working within a fast-paced, international business environment is a must. /li liExperience in and ability to contributing to a successful overall team spirit /li liFluency in local language and in English is a must /li liFlexibility in mindset, mindset of both acquiring new customers and maintaining and deepening of existing customer relationships. /li /ul h3Competencies Skills /h3 ul liEnergetic, straight-forward and performance-driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution abilities. /li liPro-active and self-initiative personality with a can-do attitude /li liSupport and control (working smarter not harder), getting things done. /li liTeam oriented attitude “play your teammate good” /li liConvincing personality with drive, resilience and perseverance /li liAbility to be a self-starter and developing things, using previous experience, institutionalizing processes without giving up entrepreneurship. /li liAbility to achieve results in a pragmatic way in a dynamic and innovative organization /li liStrong negotiating skills, and excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in a multi-lingual environment. /li liHigh level of integrity, commitment and ethics. /li /ul pAt Straumann, we believe in the unique value of every individual and foster an inclusive, open, and respectful environment.
