They are accountable for accurate revenue forecasts throughout the fiscal year, enabling the executive team to monitor business performance and make informed decisions. The role requires maintaining knowledge of competitor products and strategies, and escalating their activities in a timely manner. Additionally, the Account Manager provides customer feedback on Twist Bioscience products and identifies unmet customer needs to support the development of new products. The ideal location for this role is in London, England, UK. What you'll be doing: Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets based on established commission plans. Provide accurate and timely forecasts for your territory. Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers at various organizational levels. Create contingency and risk mitigation plans for your region as needed. Develop and execute supply agreements to support business growth. Collaborate with operations to minimize time to revenue. Keep CRM database updated with current information. Represent the company at relevant tradeshows. Monitor the competitive landscape, gather customer feedback, and suggest new product ideas internally. Perform additional duties as assigned. What you'll bring to the team: A proven track record of meeting financial targets quarterly and annually. 2-5 years of experience selling life science reagents and solutions; knowledge of synthetic biology products and markets is preferred. Business-to-business sales experience, especially with pharma, chemical, or Agbio organizations. Technical knowledge of synthetic biology applications involving genes, pathways, and organisms. Background in technical sales, support, or product management is advantageous. Experience with Salesforce required.
