PpbRole: CDC – SW Validation Engineer /b /p pbLocation: Turin, Italy (Onsite) /b /p pbRole type: Contract /b /p pbYears of experience: Above 7 years /b /p h3Primary Function: /h3 ul liThis is for Truck – Infotainment SW validation /li liThe System under consideration is Cockpit Domain controller (Infotainment + Telematics + Instrument Cluster) – System Validation /li liExperienced in SW Qualification Testing of In Vehicle infotainment (IVI), Telematics Feature Validation, Instrument Cluster validation /li liWork with system engineers and software teams to create, execute, improve, develop and maintain integration test plans. /li liStudy component function requirements upfront to proactively design Test cases at a component/pre-system/system level. /li liVia simulation tools, or directly using integration bench and/or vehicle, test the latest SW development release, create Test Report and provide feedback to Validation leads and quality Team. /li liDefining component/pre-system/system test plans to validate requirements and functionalities as documented in the component specifications. /li liDeveloping test scenarios, test applications and generating test procedures to properly and rigorously test the component/system requirements and functionalities. /li liPerforming software integration and troubleshooting of multiple applications involved in the projects under test. /li liExecuting tests to validate the requirements and functionalities as detailed in the test plan. /li liIdentifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing using DevOps. /li liWorking with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues (root cause driven troubleshooting). /li liOperating Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) for regression testing as required.
