The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Perugia.
This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and key member of a growing, well-funded startup. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.
As part of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead, focusing on developing new relationships with restaurants.
More specifically, you will :
* Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across your region in an organized manner, becoming a city-level expert including knowing the up-and-coming restaurants and those most desired by customers.
* Support partners in joining Deliveroo, ensuring the best experience for them.
* Communicate with restaurants through visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
* Assist restaurant owners / managers in overcoming barriers or hesitations.
* Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.
Requirements
* You must be comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
* Confidence or experience in dealing with partners / customers face-to-face, via phone, or email.
* Experience in demonstrating products and industry knowledge to clients.
* Comfort with negotiations.
* Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
