C.H. Robinson is seeking a Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division in Milan or Turin. In this key position, you will be responsible for growing the Global Forwarding (International Air, Ocean & Rail) services by securing new profitable and sustainable customers for the Branch / Area. As a Sales Executive, you will be driven to succeed, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be an excellent relationship-builder. You will generate revenue and drive new business through face-to-face sales meetings, presenting supply chain improvements, and closing sales. You will be selling for an industry leader, supported by top-tier people, processes, and technology. At C.H. Robinson, we believe in the power of in-person collaboration to fuel innovation and success. You will engage with peers on-site 2 days a week, with flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week, balancing teamwork and autonomy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage customer interactions, build relationships, make calls, and close deals Visit customers and potential clients within your territory 3-4 days per week Collaborate with your manager on forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development Prioritize tasks with solid decision-making skills Coordinate with internal departments to ensure positive customer experiences Understand customer challenges and supply chain goals to develop tailored solutions Contribute to the regional team by achieving revenue targets and sharing best practices Prospect and conduct face-to-face visits with new customers within your territory Maintain and update the CRM system regularly Engage with existing customers to ensure ongoing success, in collaboration with Account Executives/Managers Follow up on sales leads from overseas offices or your Sales Manager Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Coordinate quotes with your Sales Coordinator and facilitate customer onboarding Perform other duties as assigned based on team or country needs QUALIFICATIONS Required: High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of operations experience in freight forwarding or outside sales Willingness to travel within your territory 3-4 days per week Fluent in Italian and English Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Knowledge of logistics and supply chain terminology Ability to speak multiple European languages Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management abilities Attention to detail Persuasive, motivating, and influential personality Self-driven, results-oriented with a focus on quality and profitability Hunter mentality for business development Ability to build and maintain strong inter-company relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office Valuing diversity and inclusion in the workplace WHAT WE OFFER Opportunities to grow within a fast-moving, global organization An inclusive, innovative, and fun workplace Language development opportunities in multilingual offices Access to training platforms like Percipio and GoFluent Modern office location with easy access Team-building activities and events Comprehensive benefits including competitive salary, bonuses, meal vouchers, insurance, WFH allowance, healthcare, EAP, and ESPP after one year Why Do You Belong at C.H.
