We are looking for a BDM, responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing strategic markets for Thermal Care EMEA solutions, with a strong focus on OEMs and industrial end users. The role combines direct new customer development activities with structured support to the existing network of subsidiaries and distributors.
The position will operate under the strategic coordination of the Head Of Sales EMEA.
Geographical & Market Scope
* Primary focus: Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and surrounding areas)
* Development of new markets and new industrial segments
* Plastics sector managed in collaboration with the existing sales network
* Non-plastics sectors developed also through direct contact with OEMs and end users
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development & Opportunity Generation
* Identify and develop new strategic markets, applications, and industrial segments
* Generate new business opportunities through:
* Analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging technological applications
* Support the definition of market entry strategies for new segments
Customer & Partner Development
* Develop commercial relationships with key customers, OEMs, and technical stakeholders
* Support and collaborate with subsidiaries and distributors in local business development
* Participate in customer visits, technical events, and industry trade shows
* Act as a technical-commercial reference during early opportunity development phases
Sales Process Contribution
* Manage opportunity development through to order acquisition
* Coordinate with Sales Engineers, subsidiaries, and distributors during deal execution
* Support technical solution definition in collaboration with internal technical teams
* Ensure alignment with the overall EMEA commercial strategy
Strategic & Analytical Contribution
* Contribute to identifying high-potential markets
* Provide qualitative analysis on pipeline development, market trends, and competitive positioning
* Support the definition of commercial priorities and regional growth strategies
Sales Approach
* Hybrid Hunter (approx. 50%) / Developer (approx. 50%) sales model
* Strong technical and consultative sales approach
* High level of interaction with technical stakeholders on the customer side
Requirements
* Self-motivated and sales target oriented
* Must be flexible to travel anywhere in Europe
* Good communication skills (English spoken and written, and a second language).
