For the next season, we are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join the team at our refined La Terrazza Restaurant and at the Pool Grill Restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. He/She reports to Executive Chef. Main duties & responsibilities Assisting the Chef de Partie Pastry in the daily operations of the pastry section; Preparing and producing a variety of desserts, cakes, pastries, ice creams, and other sweet items according to recipes and hotel standards; Ensuring precise measurements, correct techniques, and consistent quality in all preparations; Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the pastry kitchen; Monitoring and managing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients; Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen brigade; Learning and mastering new techniques and recipes as required; Ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and consistently to meet the expectations of our luxury clientele. Requirements A formal culinary qualification specializing in pastry arts or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting. Strong foundational knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques. Exceptional attention to detail and a flair for artistic presentation. Ability to work efficiently and in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
