The Technical Sales Manager will supervise all the activities in the technical office and pilot line. He/She coordinates Sales, Design and Pilot line teams and at the same time the role maintains relationships with key customers, ensuring that the products meet their needs, negotiating contracts and implement the technical solution.
Key responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the team of mechanical designers and pilot line
2. Support in reviewing the budget
3. Coordinate the development plan for contract projects for embossing rolls
4. Interface with customers
5. Collaborate with the R&D team for developing new embossing rolls
6. Propose creative and competitive product development solutions to the Development team
7. Study and develop new methodologies in order to improve embossing rolls
8. Oversee the project to the customer from bidding to order intake
9. Scout for new customers
10. Conduct negotiations
11. Analyze the market and competition
12. Organize and participate in company trade fairs industry events and trade shows
To succeed in this role you should have:
13. Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
14. Proven experience as Technical Manager in an industrial enviroment
15. Knowledege of mechanical design
16. Fluent spoken and written both English and Italian
17. Able to balance budgets
18. Available to travel all the time requested
19. Able to lead a team
20. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
21. Problem solving skills
22. Goal-oriented and customer focus
23. Able to work under pressure
