Mission
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our multi-channel e-commerce strategy, with a strong focus on the Italian petfood market. Your scope will cover
specialized e-retailers
,
marketplaces
, and the development of a new
direct-to-consumer (D2C)
channel. You will play a central role in accelerating Gheda's digital transformation and revenue diversification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management – Specialized E-Retailers
* Identify and approach the main specialized pet e-retailers in Italy.
* Negotiate product listings, commercial conditions, and channel activation plans.
* Define channel-specific sales targets and development roadmaps.
* Coordinate trade marketing actions and digital visibility campaigns.
* Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance and propose corrective actions.
* Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key partners.
2. Marketplace Strategy – Focus on Amazon
* Manage and grow our presence on Amazon Italy, in close collaboration with a certified partner agency.
* Coordinate content optimization (A+ pages, SEO, visuals), product catalog, and pricing strategy.
* Supervise advertising investments (Amazon Ads) and performance analysis.
* Explore and assess expansion opportunities on other marketplaces relevant to the pet category.
3. D2C Launch – Gheda Direct
* Contribute to the development and rollout of the new D2C e-commerce platform.
* Define the product offering, customer journey, pricing model, and promotional calendar.
* Collaborate with marketing, development, logistics and CRM teams.
* Ensure brand consistency and alignment with global digital strategy.
Your Profile
* 4–7 years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales, ideally in FMCG or pet-related sectors.
* Hands-on knowledge of Amazon (Vendor or Seller) and marketplace dynamics.
* Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Fluent in Italian; professional level of English.
* Comfortable using performance tools (Google Analytics, Excel, CMS, CRM, Ads platforms).
Organizational Context & Development Opportunities
* Reports directly to the Marketing Director, with a dotted-line to our CEO.
* Based on performance and business needs, the role may be extended to cover other European markets.
Contract & Workplace
* Full-time permanent contract (tempo indeterminato).
* Role based in Ostiglia (MN), with in-office presence expected.
* Remote work flexibility possible after trial period.
