We are a young Berlin start-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. We are are looking for a Lead of Office IT (m/w/x) in Berlin at the earliest possible date.
Would you like to take on responsibility while actively helping to build out our infrastructure? In this role, you’ll oversee the technical and personnel aspects of our office IT and work with us to further develop the department.
Responsibilities
* You will assume technical and leading responsibility for our Office IT team and actively help shape its expansion and growth.
* You will be responsible for our employees’ network infrastructure and workplace equipment (hardware, networks, mobile communications) across all locations, as well as for efficient service and support processes.
* You will further develop our Linux- and open-source-based office IT landscape, particularly our Ansible-based remote management.
* You will coordinate IT-related onboarding and offboarding processes, taking into account the needs of our employees, managers, and the People Team.
* In collaboration with others, you will initiate and develop training and awareness programs for employees.
* You will be responsible for procurement, asset management, and budget planning for our IT hardware.
Profile
* You have a degree in computer science, comparable IT training, or relevant practical experience.
* You have some experience in a leadership or coordinating role within an IT department.
* You have several years of technical experience with Linux systems and networks.
* You have experience in the design, implementation, and operation of remote management and client provisioning systems, ideally with Ansible.
* You are willing to travel to our other locations several times a year—approximately once every three months.
* You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level).
* Ideally, you also have experience in the administration of Windows systems.
