Job Purpose: Internal sales specialised within a sub BU allocated to accounts where possible, deep knowledge of portfolio, process and vendor pricing, manages all quotes and closes orders; incentivized based on part of the portfolio Responsibilities: - Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers. Can have a detailed conversation with customers on solution and identify opportunities to involve the right people in the company - Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets - Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts - Engages in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and develops short, medium and long term activities to drive appropriate customer engagements - Manages customer backorder along specialist knowledge and engages in "intelligent project fishing" - In AS either manages project end-to-end or hands over to pre sales for technical requirements - Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions - Ensure Tech Data maintains service levels agreements with customers - Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as customer engagement - Sell the benefits of using Tech Data and the Company value proposition - Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.) - Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required - Drives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is required - Provides accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS), SP/ E-Var/ SI segment, Specialists (IBM), entire AS BUs) - Generate and own a pipeline of deals in Tech Data's CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities - Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting - Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information Knowledge Skills and Experience - 3 years of experience - Understands Cisco Processes and Products - Numerate with good attention to detail - Excellent telephone manner - Priority management and planning skills - Strive to achieve set targets - Understands Sales Process - Effective Communication Skills - Good relationship building - SAP Knowledge - Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - A knowledge of product set would be desirable - IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential - Language English preferable At TD SYNNEX, we're proud to be recognized as a great place to work and a leader in the promotion and practice of diversity, equity and inclusion.
