Head of Marketing, Italy Department Structural Heart, Sales and Marketing Reporting relationship General Manager Structural Heart, Italy Essential job Responsibilities Primary Objectives: - Member of the regional leadership team. - Design and lead high-performance regional marketing and market development organization by hiring, training, coaching and mentoring direct reports. - Communicate the regional marketing and market development vision, strategy and targets by facilitating collaboration to reach business targets. - Develop local heart failure user communities in a way which can be scaled to other parts of the region. - Mentor country sales management on business strategy, organizational design, team strategy and talent selection. - Contribute to development of commercial strategies applicable to EMEA. - Collaborate and advise on regional commercial excellence programs. - Develop regional go-to-market strategies for new therapies and oversee the execution of marketing and training. Top Responsibilities: - Participate in quarterly LBE and strategic planning exercises. - Collaborate with country sales management to execute strategic programs and best practice sharing for effective market development and new product introductions. - Continuously update product and clinical knowledge, resources, and competitor activities to ensure effective product placement and to gain competitive advantage. - Understand market dynamics as relates to public health and the economic environment. - Lead the capture and analysis of market share data at a regional, country and account level. - Mentor product and country managers to ensure optimal campaign execution and implementation. - Manage agencies to develop specialist literature and ensure adaptation to local market needs. - Oversee product launches and product specific trainings including internal and external presentations in hospitals and at workshops. - Create a regional marketing and market development plan including product-forecasts, business-reports and provide relevant business insights from data. - Build strong relationships with regional and national thought leaders. - Manage Abbott’s regional congresses presence, workshops and scientific events. - Lead regional strategy for digital customer outreach. - Partner with in EMEA Marketing, Health Economics and Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, and Finance.
