This role is with Medtronic and involves leading with purpose in diabetes care solutions for the Piemonte-Liguria region, engaging with diabetologists, endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, pediatric diabetology professionals, healthcare administrators, and pharmacies.
Responsibilities
* A Day in the Life – Reporting directly to the Sr. Technical & Sales Coordinator North-West Italy, you will be part of the Piemonte-Liguria Sales Team and drive awareness and education on diabetes care solutions in the Piemonte-Liguria region. You will work to make a meaningful impact in diabetes care and support the Diabetes business through a separation initiative described by Medtronic.
* Deliver technical training for new patients, ensuring correct device usage and guidance on advanced features.
* Participate in follow-up meetings to address inquiries from patients and diabetologists.
* Promote ongoing technical training and raise awareness among diabetology teams about optimal diabetes management using Medtronic devices.
* Plan technical training sessions for new patient onboarding.
* Collaborate in the commercial cycle and prescription process while ensuring effective inventory management.
* Provide administrative support to the manager and Therapy Training Specialist (TTS) colleagues in monitoring regional costs.
* Engage healthcare professionals in educational activities, organize local training events, and provide technical support during scientific conferences.
* Identify and develop growth opportunities for assigned centers.
Qualifications
* A degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience with at least five years in technical-commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, specifically in the diabetes sector.
* Proficiency in using digital tools and software.
* A valid Category B driver’s license and availability for frequent travel within Piemonte and Liguria, with occasional travel across the national territory.
* Strong knowledge of the medical device market and diabetes-related therapies.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, a consultative approach, results orientation, teamwork, proactivity, and assertive communication. Familiarity with CRM systems. A strong scientific background and a good command of English are preferred. Ideally, the candidate is based in the Piemonte or Liguria area.
