Position Details
For our Italian office in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo), we are seeking a Business Development Manager in Project Logistics.
Main Responsibilities
* Proactively seek new customers in the Italian market, focusing on selling Project Logistics services.
* Establish and maintain a plan of meetings with customers.
* Attract, retain, and develop customer relationships, working with sales lists and achieving set objectives.
* Negotiate and maintain contracts, including payment terms, and update agreements in the electronic document management system.
* Identify customer needs (regular, sporadic, seasonal, project-based) and record this information in the customer portfolio.
* Evaluate customer satisfaction and address any nonconformities.
* Utilize CRM systems to document activities, create proposals, process orders, and forecast sales.
Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Project Logistics sales.
* Proficiency in English.
* Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
* Deep understanding of Project Logistics transportation.
* Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* Proactive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
