Role Summary
The Export Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the business goals in the assigned geography outside of Italy. He/she contributes to developing the product portfolio and go to market strategy and is responsible for its implementation. He/she leads the export sales team (sales support + agents) and coordinates the customers management activities, also being directly involved in managing the key accounts. He/she ensures excellent operational standards through optimization and disciplined implementation of structured operational processes. He/she is a member of Kollant management team and acts with team spirit to contribute to the greater good of Kollant and Adama as a whole.

KEY ACCOUNTABILIIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Forecasting
1. Develop and update, as needed, an aligned business strategy to be summarized by the yearly Work Plan and the 5 years Work Plan (by product, customer, geography)
2. Collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager to identify and capture the opportunities to strengthen Kollant offering and improve customer value delivery
3. Constantly align short to mid-term financial and operational plans through monthly cycles of rolling forecast supported by K-For system
Operational excellence
4. Optimizing the sales cycle processes (from quotation to order processing, invoicing and delivery) in order to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance with Adama group policies and procedures
5. Collaborate with the CFO to ensure transparent business tracking and with the IT manager to support the digitalization of transactional tasks
6. Collaborate with the Marketing manager to draft and implement the communication campaigns
7. Collaborate with the Operation Manager and Supply Manager to ensure alignment and updating of manufacturing plans
Business Development and Customer Management
8. Continuously explore potential opportunities to grow the business
9. Identify and profile leads
10. Ensure excellent customer experience and winning competitive performance by coordinating and supervising all the commercial activities abroad
11. Directly manage the Key Accounts, taking care of business plans negotiation and implementation
12. Draft and transparently manage the product price list to meet the profitability targets and maintain a competitive positioning in the market
Team Leadership
13. Deploy, lead, manage and coach the agents’ team to ensure adequate footprint, effective commercial activities and valued customer support
14. Develop the agents’ technical and commercial skills
15. Lead, manage and coach the sales support team to provide effective and efficient workload management
16. Attract and develop talents
17. Manage team members’ performance and compensation according to Adama group policies
Background/expierence
18. Master Degree (scientific or economic background)
19. Five years experience in commercial roles with international responsibilities
20. Three years experience in leading a team
21. Professional and/or consumer pest control + plant care industry knowledge
22. Must be fluent in Italian and English, Spanish and French nice to have
23. Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft applications and business support tools
24. Ability / willingness to travel according to business needs
