Bvlgari, within the worldwide Logistics and Supply Chain department based in Florence, is looking for a Leather Goods & Accessories Inventory & Distribution Planner.
The profile will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Target Stock Levels at store level, as well as buffer stocks for local warehouses, in line with commercial distribution guidelines and inventory targets and for ensuring the proper worldwide stock allocation.
Responsibilities
- Define the stock target level at Country level and Target Stock Level (TSL) for each store, based on global year, inventory target, defined service level (inventory coverage and rotation) and store assortment;
- Distribute leather goods and accessories inventory worldwide per channel and location in line with corporate guidelines to maximize revenues (sell-in of Business Partners and sell-out of Directly Operated Stores), minimizing inventory levels, stock out and backorders;
- Monitor and evaluate the assortment and TSL performances and fluctuations with the goal of maximizing the stock rotation and assure Product Availability;
- Cooperate and update to Supply, Demand Planning and Markets on TSL updates;
- Cooperate with Merchandising/Markets to support sales events and marketing campaigns;
- Manage the shop openings ramp-up, closure and pop-up;
- Coordinate seasonal buyback campaigns from stores;
- Calculate and communicate on product availability, new launches status and work in partnership with Sales, Merchandising and Marketing teams to define the most efficient and effective way to manage customer demand;
- Cooperate with local Supply chain to ensure the deployment of stock rebalancing guidelines within each country/area;
- Develop, track and support refining key operating performance metrics concerning stock and distribution performances at country/boutique level closely working with Supply Chain Business Intelligence and Reporting team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Engineering will be considered a plus.)
- At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools - SAP is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management
- Fluency in English and Italian is required. Knowledge of an additional language will be considered a plus.
