Description
Taco Italia, part of an American industrial group, active in the production and development of circulation pumps for the heating and air conditioning sector, intended for both the OEM and distribution markets, is looking for a Product Manager.
This role is crucial to support our European circulator portfolio in a rapidly evolving DHW and hydronic space heating/cooling market driven by heat pump adoption and energy efficiency goals.
You will ensure accurate product data governance, manage lifecycle activities, and drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain in our European facilities. You will work closely with our Product Management team based in Switzerland, you will help shape the portfolio strategy, support new product opportunities and ensure compliance with market needs and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute strategic input to the Product Management and to Technical Department to support coherent regional and global product development initiatives
Guide decisions related to circulators' product data, specifications, and lifecycle tasks in coordination with the Senior Product Manager and aligned with the global portfolio strategy
Monitor product performance and propose process improvements
Harmonize product architecture, pricing, and features across platforms and operating systems
Maintain accurate product data in ERP, CRM, and PIMS systems
Support product offerings: customized for OEMs/white-label and off-the-shelf for Trade
Coordinate cross-functional alignment on product priorities
Implement phase-in/phase-out processes and facilitate demand forecasting
Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and marketing collateral
Gather and synthesize voice-of-customer feedback
Conduct market and competitor research to identify unmet needs
Recommend customer segments for new product launches
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, sciences, or business
3 years of product management experience in B2B technical domains, or 5+ years in technical roles (R&D;, engineering) in HVAC, building services, or industrial pumps
HVAC systems and product lifecycle management
Basic project management principles (Waterfall / Agile)
ERP, CRM, and PIM systems experience
Data analysis (e.g., Excel, BI, and AI tools) and market research
Languages: Italian and English
Problem solving, analytical approach and results-oriented
Great aptitude for teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and influence decisions
Periodic travel
