Ph3SOMMELIER /h3 pMandarin Oriental, Lago di Como’s Sommelier is in charge of suggesting and serving wine to all guests and customers in an impeccably manner, ensuring that quality standards are met at all times. /p h3Duties and responsibilities: /h3 ul liEnsure that the wine list is continuously updated, focusing on Italian and local products and labels. /li liServe all beverage orders in a professional manner, using the correct equipment and following the proper procedures. /li liRecommend wine to guests according to their requirements. /li liTake beverage orders, promoting up‑selling techniques. /li liAdvise and train the service team on all aspects of beverage service. /li liMaintain accurate sales records of wines and spirits. /li liControl the stock levels of all beverage items. /li liAssist with the service of food when and if necessary. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liPrevious working experience in a fine‑dining restaurant, preferably in a 5‑star luxury resort/hotel. /li liFluent in English and Italian. /li liWilling to learn and able to work under pressure. /li liProactive, with good customer‑service skills. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
