About the Role: Internal "Voice of the customer" in charge of understanding correctly customer's / market's needs and requirements, identifying value for customer, and ensuring a relevant, timely and reliable technology/product roadmap. The Product Manager’s role is to assess the market and product opportunities and build the strategy/positioning and roadmap for his/her product area based on the company strategy, internal/external user/customer needs, market insights, technology developments, and other stakeholder input. He/she manages the entire product lifecycle from inception to phase-out. The Product Manager is responsible for driving approval for the strategy and roadmap to ensure all parts of the organization, especially Sales, Operations, Marketing, Service, and Finance, support it. The Product Manager works closely with the development teams to ensure the products are developed according to market needs and meet cost target plus quality, safety, and technology standards. Finally, the Product Manager assumes responsibility for developing a go-to-market strategy/plan in collaboration with Business Development, Sales, and Service. Gather and prioritize existing and emerging market/customer needs/demands Define technology/product vision and necessary strategy to achieve it i.e. which product gaps should be addressed first and ensure alignment with the organization Responsible to create a fact-based and technical Market Requirements Document for each product that shall be developed translating the voice of the customer into a list of technical requirements incl. cost target. Work with the Coesia and FlexLink Marketing team to: Ensure all marketing, technical/presentation/training materials/videos are prepared and available in relevant communication channels Ensure that demonstration units are available for operating units and fairs Manage the product lifecycle from inception to phase-out ensuring that the product portfolio stays attractive and sustainable. What You Need to Be Successful: Professional Background At least three years of experience in Product Management in a technology-driven B2B context or other relevant experience equivalent to a 3-year experienced Product Manager. Experience in global and complex organizations, familiarity with conveyor technology Experience in managing target technology and market knowledge as a plus Fact based decision making Analytical skills Strategic thinker Confidence in matrix set-up Effective communication Growth mindset, why-not attitude, and hands-on mentality International mindset and multicultural dexterity Ability to manage conflicts in effective way Engineering or business degree or comparable Full professional proficiency in English Proficiency in other languages is an advantage Coesia is an equal-opportunity employer and embraces diversity and inclusion.
