Location: Altopascio (LU). This position offers a hybrid work model, combining on‑site presence with remote flexibility.
About the role We are looking for a talented professional to lead and optimize Payroll and HR Administration activities for Essity in Italy, covering four manufacturing sites and a commercial office.
What you will do
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
Manage employment contracts, attendance, and mandatory documentation.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, collective agreements, and company policies.
Prepare reports on personnel costs, headcount, and support budgeting activities.
Administer HRIS and payroll tools, promoting process digitalization.
Coordinate, develop, and monitor the performance of the HR Administration team.
Act as liaison with social institutions, consultants, and manage audits.
Participate in global initiatives and optimize HR processes.
Who you are
Proven experience in leading payroll and HR administration functions.
Track record in managing and developing teams, fostering growth and performance.
In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law and collective agreements such as CCNL Industria della Carta, CCNL Commercio e Terziario, CCNL Dirigenti Industria, CCNL Dirigenti Commercio.
Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS, with experience in at least one payroll management tool.
Familiarity with Zucchetti, SAP, and Workday is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of building effective relationships.
Proactive and results‑oriented, with a problem‑solving mindset.
Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
Positive attitude, bringing constructive energy and collaboration to the team.
