Hospitality Talents – Recruitment Agency, is currently looking for an Director of Sales to join the team of our client's, a life style hotel.
We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong expertise in Leisure high-end (US, UK, Middle East,...), Leisure Groups and transient business management. As the DOS, you will be at the helm of a dynamic team, driving the hotel's revenue and brand presence to new heights.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversees the sales effort of the property and the performance management, coaching, recruiting and selection of the sales workforce, as well as any third-party contract services.
* Provides day-to-day leadership to the team of on-property active sales associates (e.g. sales manager(s) and sales coordinator(s)).
* Works with the Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager, Director of Groups & Events and General Manager to develop and manage the hotel’s sales and marketing budget. Participates in revenue management strategies.
* Implements the brand's strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's sales objectives.
* Evaluates the property's participation in the various sales channels (OTAs, Group, brand, RFPs, etc.) and develops strong relationships to proactively position and market the property.
Profil
* Bachelor or Master in Hospitality Manager or another relevant hospitality study.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 4 to 5 years of progressive experience within the Sales Department of a similar life-style hotel, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
* Proficiency in English is essential. Good base of Italian appreciated
* Exceptional communication skills to foster strong internal and external relationships.
* Display numerical insight to comprehend and analyze key sales metrics.
* Exhibit effective prioritization skills to manage diverse responsibilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Opera.
