As a Key Account Manager at Oerlikon, you will manage the commercial and technical interface with assigned customers to meet sales budgets and unlock growth. You will work closely with the sales team to develop account plans, define budgets and forecasts, and build relationships with key decision-makers. You will advise on coatings and applications, support sampling and demonstrations, and relay market feedback to internal teams. This role offers the chance to drive strategic customer partnerships in a global industrial setting and contribute to sustainability-minded engineering solutions.

- Commercially manage assigned accounts, propose pricing strategies and prepare quotations within company rules
- Define and manage sales budget and forecast per account; contribute to country budget targets
- Identify and engage key decision makers; develop and implement per-account sales plans
- Consult with customers on coatings and applications; support new applications and demonstrations
- Identify prospects and drive new business opportunities
- Provide customer support and interface to Metco (quality claims, receivables)
- Manage customer data using the CRM system
- Provide market and competitive feedback to internal teams
- Attend trade shows, events, and seminars as appropriate
Responsabilità
- Materials or mechanical bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of relevant sales experience
- Knowledge of thermal spray coating and laser cladding is a plus
- Professional English
- Driving license and willingness to travel
