This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and compliant customs classification of goods across global markets, with a strategic focus on supporting global classification initiatives. /p pSelected candidate will report to the Customs Classification Manager within the Trade Compliance organization and will be primarily responsible for supporting the EMEA Trade Compliance team on all matters related to customs classification. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify products through the analysis of mechanical drawings and technical documentation /li liClassify imported and exported goods in accordance with applicable customs regulations /li liConduct analyses related to Binding Tariff Information (BTI), EU regulations, and rulings on customs classification /li liOptimize classification processes and systems to improve efficiency and compliance /li liInterpret mechanical drawings and apply relevant regulatory frameworks /li liAnalyze and continuously improve classification-related processes /li liSupport both manual and automated self-assessment activities for preferential origin calculations /li liAssist in the preparation and implementation of corrective actions resulting from findings during audits and self-assessments /li /ul h3Experience Required /h3 ul liTechnical diploma or degree in mechanical or engineering disciplines, with a solid understanding of automotive industry products /li liFluent in English, both written and spoken /li liPrevious experience in Trade Compliance, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering /li liKnowledge of international customs practices and regulations /li liMinimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Access, Excel, and PowerPoint), and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other business intelligence tools /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
