PpThe mission of Greater Cincinnati BOMA is to be recognized as a principal voice through leadership advocacy and education for the commercial real estate industry. /p pAs a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you will manage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. /p pThis job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liProvide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. /li liCoordinate and manage the team’s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. /li liCoordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. /li liMaintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. /li liPrepare and manage large and high‑profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. /li liPerform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. /li liCreate environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. /li liDevelop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. /li liApply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. /li liLead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. /li liIdentify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. /li liUnderstand and recognize the broader impact across the department. /li liImprove and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree preferred with 5‑6 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. /li liValid driver’s license required. /li liFacility Management certification preferred. /li liExperience preferred in 24/7 manufacturing, critical operations and complex HVAC and electrical systems. /li liExperience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. /li liAbility to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. /li liLeadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. /li liExtensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. /li liAdvanced math skills.
