Job Responsibilities
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for a key strategic player, overseeing and driving a unified, strategic approach to account management, ensuring a long-term, high-impact partnership.
2. Develop and execute bespoke, high-level account strategies in close collaboration with internal sales, technical teams, and key stakeholders, driving alignment across the business.
3. Spearhead business growth initiatives by identifying and leveraging strategic opportunities for collaboration, innovative product solutions, and market expansion.
4. Focus exclusively on the strategic needs of the assigned account, maintaining a deep understanding of the client’s business, market dynamics, and evolving requirements.
5. Facilitate seamless communication and cross-functional coordination within Danfoss, ensuring the sharing of best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across business units.
6. Lead high-stakes contract negotiations, aligning terms with both company objectives and customer expectations, while ensuring the highest standards of professionalism.
7. Provide senior leadership with comprehensive reports on account performance, sales activities, and strategic initiatives, highlighting key outcomes and growth opportunities.
Background & Skills
8. Strong educational background in technical or economic disciplines, with a focus on topics related to refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring a solid foundation for understanding the industry.
9. Proven experience in key account management, business development, or sales within B2B environments, gained in international, mid-to-large scale organizations with complex global commercial agreements.
10. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term commercial strategies that drive sustainable business growth and strengthen customer relationships.
11. Extensive experience in managing complex negotiations and building lasting, strategic partnerships with high-value customers across diverse industries.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to foster collaboration, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
13. Fluent in English and Italian (written & spoken).
14. Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as required, maintaining a strong presence in key markets and with the customer.
