PbAbout the role /b /ppMorimatsu Energies Materials is starting a new operation office in Milan, Italy in 2025 to support company’s business in Europe region. We are seeking a professional to drive sales and project coordination activities with European clients and partners in Energy and Chemical Industry, including but not limited to End Users, EPC Contractors, Technology Licensors, Project Developers etc. This role focuses on business development, customer relationship management and project coordination for company’s pressure vessel manufacturing and modular EPF (engineering, procurement, fabrication) business. /ppbr/ppbProduct Portfolio and Targeted Market /b /pp bProduct Service: /b /pulliDesign Supply of Pressure Vessels, including Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Drums etc. /liliModular EPF (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication) Solution for Chemical, OG, Green Energy Process Plants. /liliPre-FEED / FEED engineering consultancy to promote modular solutions for potential customers /li /ulp b Targeted Market: /b /pulliChemical / Fine Chemical /liliGreen Energies (i.e. Green H2 / MeOH / Ammonia, SAF, etc.) /liliOil Gas (Off-shore On-shore) /liliEV Battery Materials (Electrolyte, Cathode, Anode etc.) /li /ulpSee further details on our website: /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppb Business Development Sales Management: /b /pulliIdentify and engage new clients and project opportunities in Europe with deep understanding of company’s technical characteristics and connections in the industry network. /liliParticipate in industrial events to explore potential customers and projects, improve market awareness by presenting the company on selected exhibitions / forums. /liliImprove customer relationships by providing professional and localized sales project coordination service, gain access to insight information during project bidding stage to improve win rate of biddings, build and maintain strong top management connections with European customers and partners. /liliFollow up front-end and firm project opportunities, manage proposals and clarifications with support by Asian headquarter sales team. /liliVisit clients on a routine basis to maintain and improve network quality and depth within client’s organization. /liliSupport communication with clients for after-sales requests. /li /ulpb Project Management Coordination: /b /pulliSupport project meetings led by project manager to improve communication quality and efficiency when necessary. Strong communication skills and problem-solving thinking are required for this function. /liliSupport project manager to negotiate with client for change orders, liquidated damages for delay / quality. /liliSupport project / procurement manager for coordination meetings with European local suppliers. /li /ulpbr/ppbQualifications /b /ppb Experience Requirements: /b /pulli 5+ years working experience in chemical / energy industry, background in EPC contractor / process licensor / pressure vessel manufacturer is preferred. /liliCandidates shall have experience of sales or project management in previous positions. /li /ulpb Technical Competencies: /b /pulliKnowledge of ASME VIII, PED 2014/68/EU, EN 13445, and other relevant standards for pressure equipment. /liliProficiency in engineering documentation (e.g., PID, datasheets, drawings, specifications etc.). /liliMechanical or Process Engineering background is preferred. /li /ulpb Soft Skills: /b /pulliFluent English as working language is a must. /liliItalian and other European languages will be a plus. /liliResponsible and rigorous personality, strong negotiation, problem-solving, and intercultural communication skills. /liliStrong capability and willingness of learning and shifting the skill sets into different industry applications. /liliCapability to work under pressure and acceptance to work extra time when necessary to finish the work within deadline. /li /ulpb Other: /b /pulliWillingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and occasionally to global project sites. /liliValid EU work permit or residence required. /liliAvailability to work in Segerate, Milan during workdays. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhy Join Us? /b /pulliLeading international market position as pressure vessel supplier and modular solution provider in energy chemical industry. /liliOriginated from Japan since 1947 with proud history and solid financial growth. /liliCompetitive compensation package with performance incentives. /liliProfessional development opportunities with global market accessibility. /liliApplication: Submit your CV and cover letter to following email addresses with the subject line “Sales Engineer – MET Italy”. /li /ul
