Primary Responsibilities Include: Warmly greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and offering recommendations on food and beverages. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar efficiently. Serving food and drinks with precision, elegance, and adherence to established service standards. Ensuring guests' needs are consistently met throughout their meal, anticipating requests before they are made. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Assisting with wine service, including opening and pouring, as per guest preference. Clearing tables, re-setting for new guests, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your assigned section. Handling guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and discretion. Collaborating effectively with the kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and harmonious dining experience. Processing payments accurately and efficiently. Requirements What You Bring: Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting. Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage service, including fine dining etiquette and standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a refined and engaging demeanor. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent memory and attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage. Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards. Knowledge of wine and spirits is highly desirable.
