We're looking for a Junior sales Specialist to support our business in South East Europe, based in our Milan office. You'll join a young, dynamic European feed team, start with a structured training phase to learn the business, and quickly take ownership of your own client portfolio. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, customer-oriented self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and a true hunting attitude—someone eager to grow, think strategically, and make an impact in the animal feed sector while working in an international, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training phase (6–12 months):
* Learn the business hands-on by supporting logistics, operations, documentation, and deliveries
* Work closely with customers, finance, and operations teams
* Gain strong exposure to market analysis and trade support
After training – Commercial role:
* Grow sales of feed supplements across Italy
* Expand our customer portfolio (feed mills, premix producers, farms)
* Be on the road, building strong and lasting customer relationships
* Share market insights and support commercial initiatives
* Support logistics to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries
* Help strengthen GAR's presence and visibility in the Italian feed market
Requirements
* Bachelor's/Master's degree level, preferable in animal production and nutrition, veterinary medicine, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics or equivalent
* 1+ years of professional experience, preferably in an international company
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Fluent in Italian, both written and spoken
