On behalf of our Client a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for a Key Account Manager who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.
The Key Account Manager (KAM) builds and maintains strong relationships with Company's most strategic, high-value accounts, serving as their primary partner to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth. The KAM understands customer needs, coordinates internal teams to deliver solutions, identifies opportunities to expand engagement, and supports long-term planning. This role is essential for maximizing patient and client value, driving revenue from priority accounts, and consistently achieving defined sales targets through proactive communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
Key responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales Execution:
* Develop and implement strategic business plans for assigned key accounts.
* Drive sales and market adoption of the product through effective customer engagement.
* Identify and target high-potential healthcare professionals and institutions.
Customer Engagement & Education:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, physicians, and healthcare providers.
* Educate HCPs on the product's clinical profile, benefits, and access pathways.
* Conduct both in-person and virtual engagements to enhance product understanding.
Market & Business Intelligence:
* Analyze sales and market data to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
* Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market access dynamics.
* Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to refine strategies.
* Compliance & Operational Excellence:
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company guidelines.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities and account management efforts.
* Participate in company-sponsored meetings, conferences, and training programs.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
* 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience with a strong track record.
* Experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, or Endocrinology is strongly preferred.
* Prior experience in specialty product launches is highly desirable.
Skills & Attributes:
* Strong relationship building and communication skills.
* Ability to analyze business data and develop strategic account plans.
* Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Travel & Location:
* Must reside within the assigned region and be willing to travel as needed.
* A valid driver's license is required.
