The ideal candidate is passionate about driving systemic change for nature and climate and has a proven ability in working with large corporations and multinational companies relating to climate and nature‑related topics. /ph3Role and responsibilities /h3pThe ideal candidate will contribute to the overall growth of the company by developing new business opportunities and markets, and by managing key accounts, in two key focus areas: Nature‑positive strategies, with our LUCAS approach, and Net Zero Climate Strategies using our MARC approach (more info on our website). /ppThis includes: /pulliOverseeing the development of budgets and proposals; /liliNegotiating contracts; /liliIdentifying and implementing selling strategies; /liliCultivating and managing key clients; /liliUpselling and cross‑selling services; /liliPreparing and reviewing proposals for grant tenders. /li /ulpThe ideal candidate must have prior and proven experience in proposing and selling climate and nature‑related services; and must have an in‑depth knowledge of key topics, frameworks and standards such as: TCFD; TNDF; SBTi; SBTN; CSRD; FSC; VERRA; .etc.. /ppThe ideal candidate will also support the Sales and Business Development Team in prospecting for new clients and in proposing and selling other potential services that may be strategic for the company. /ph3Education /h3pThe ideal candidate has a Master's degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability field (e.g., environmental science, ecology, environmental economics, environmental engineering, sustainability management). /ppIt will also be considered candidates with different educational backgrounds, as long as they are consistent with the role. /ph3Experience /h3pMinimum 3 years of professional experience required (preferably 5+ years) in Key Account Management/Sales and Business Development related to environmental consulting services. /ppExperience in coordinating with other team members and other colleagues across the company programs is essential. /ppFamiliarity with other environmental standards, regulations and legislation or/and with nature‑based solutions is considered a plus. /ph3Required skills and Competencies /h3ulliFluency in Italian (spoken and written); /liliC1 level English proficiency (spoken and written); /liliStrong target setting skills in compliance with company's requirements; /liliProven ability to reach set targets; /liliComfortable in working with other team members; /liliProven ability to coordinate job and tasks with other team members; /liliStrong communication skills, including the ability to: 1. promote the company brand and services during specific events and workshops and 2. rappresent (if needed) the company at international tables and panels; /liliFamiliarity and proven experience with climate standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol and SBTi Net Zero Standard; /liliStrong analytical skills and structured problem‑solving ability; /liliMotivation aligned with Etifor’s values of environmental integrity, ethical business, and science‑based impact. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3pThe Etifor team will support your growth within the company in an international and friendly corporate environment.
