Through its U.S.-based company bIkonisys /b, and its European cytology branch bHospitex International /b, Aliko delivers cutting‑edge, fully automated platforms for bFISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) /b and bLiquid‑Based Cytology (LBC) /b. /p pWe are now seeking a full‑time bBusiness Development Manager /b based in Florence, with extensive travel in US, to lead the expansion of our FISH LBC diagnostics business across the United States. /p h3Position Overview /h3 pAs bBusiness Development Manager /b, you will report directly to the Group CEO and be responsible for executing Aliko’s commercial strategy for FISH diagnostics in the U.S. market. You will act as the strategic driver for client acquisition, distributor management, and revenue growth, while working closely with marketing, clinical, and technical teams based in the U.S. and Europe. /p h3Primary Responsibilities /h3 ul liTranslate corporate strategy into executable commercial plans for the FISH diagnostics segment and LBC /li liLead market development and customer engagement efforts, identifying and converting new business opportunities. /li liBuild and manage strategic relationships with clinical laboratories, hospitals, and diagnostic groups. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, marketing, regulatory, legal) to ensure smooth execution. /li liRepresent the company at scientific conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings. /li liProvide accurate forecasts, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management. /li liSupport the scaling of the FISH LBC business through validated models and partnerships. /li /ul h3Candidate Requirements /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in bBiology /b, bBiotechnology /b, or a related medicine/scientific discipline. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years in business development or commercial leadership within the life sciences or diagnostics industry. /li liStrong track record as product specialist (5 years) in molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, or oncology testing markets (FISH or LBC experience highly preferred). /li liExperience with U.S. healthcare and diagnostic lab systems. /li liSuccess in managing B2B relationships and closing complex deals. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liFluent English and Italian required; additional languages are a plus. /li liEntrepreneurial mindset with a strong execution focus. /li liExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. /li liAbility to work independently while collaborating across international teams. /li liProficient in CRM tools and digital sales platforms. /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul liBased in Florence, Italy with 50% time of travel along U.S. /li liWillingness to travel nationally and occasionally to Europe. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liFull-time, permanent position (RAL/GAS 50k) OR Fulltime Temporary Manager Consultant equivalent cost /li liDynamic international environnement /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
