PWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The Bess Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and customer needs, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. /ppAs a first step, several main accountabilities are expected from the potential candidate : /ppb1. Sales Strategy and Execution : /b /ppDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the energy storage market. /ppIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, including utility-scale projects, commercial industrial (CI) applications, and microgrid solutions. /ppMeet or exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and effective pipeline management. /ppb2. Customer Relationship Management : /b /ppBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. /ppUnderstand customer needs and present tailored solutions that align with their technical and financial goals. /ppProvide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. /ppb3. Technical and Market Expertise : /b /ppStay up-to-date on BESS technology, market trends, and regulatory developments to effectively position the company’s products. /ppWork closely with the technical team to design and propose energy storage solutions, including technical specifications, configurations, and performance benefits. /ppDeliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients. /ppb4. Proposal Development and Negotiation : /b /ppPrepare detailed sales proposals, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and project timelines. /ppLead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms for both the company and the customer. /ppCollaborate with legal, finance, and engineering teams to finalize agreements. /ppb5. Collaboration with Internal Teams : /b /ppCoordinate with the engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution post-sale. /ppProvide market feedback to the product development team to enhance the BESS product portfolio. /ppParticipate in cross-functional meetings to align sales efforts with company objectives. /pp6. Reporting and Analysis : /ppTrack sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management. /ppAnalyze market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. /ppMaintain an up-to-date CRM database with customer information and sales activities. /ppbMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS /b /ppBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field. /pp3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems sectors. /ppStrong understanding of BESS technology, including lithium-ion batteries, inverters, and power conversion systems. /ppProven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts. /ppProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. /ppbSKILLS /b /ppTechnical knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage applications. /ppbExperience in renewable energy project financing or sales. /b /ppFamiliarity with energy policies, grid interconnection standards, and market regulations. /ppExcellent communication and presentation skills. /ppStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. /ppAbility to build trust and credibility with customers and partners. /ppSelf-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales. /ppOTHERS /ppAvailability to travel /ppBe able to work in a multicultural environment. /ppCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications. /ppOpportunities for professional growth and industry engagement. /ppBe able to commit deadlines to attend the Projects objectives. /ppBe able to work on dynamic situations and under eventual pressure circumstances. /ppAble to uphold and respect work ethics and company policies to conduct activities with integrity. /ppA team player who demonstrates patience, flexibility, and honesty. /ppOffice-based role with frequent travel to client sites, conferences, and trade shows. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
