The Role
We are looking for a commercially sharp and analytically minded Account Manager to join our team. You will work across our international markets on all things related to digital platform revenues, combining analytical rigour with operational ownership. This is a dual-facing role: on one side, you will manage relationships with third-party food delivery platforms across multiple markets; on the other, you will take direct ownership of our owned digital channels, from promotional strategy to revenue management and performance reporting.
The starting point is the field. You will need to understand processes from the inside — including the most operational ones, to then have the credibility and vision to improve them and, where possible, automate them.
This role suits someone who is ready to get into the detail, think strategically, execute independently and constantly look for ways to make things work better.
What You’ll Do
Third-Party Platforms
* Relationship ownership: Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with third-party platform partners, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted consultant.
* Commercial negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts, marketing agreements, and financial termswith the goal of improving revenue, margins, and overall partnership value.
* Performance analysis: Monitor and analyse partner performance metrics; translate data into clear insights that guide both internal decisions and partner conversations.
* Growth strategy: Develop and execute account strategies that grow market share, improve financial performance, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Across both areas, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other teams to implement tailored solutions and ensure commercial objectives are met.
Owned Channels & Digital Operations
* Channel ownership: Take full responsibility for our owned digital channels: promotional calendar, revenue targets, margin management, and performance reporting.
* Partnerships & project management: Manage digital partnerships and lead owned-channel initiatives end-to-end, from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines and KPIs are consistently met.
* Process improvement: Map and analyse existing data flows and internal communication processes; identify inefficiencies and lead their improvement, with a progressive focus on automation.
* Reporting: Build and maintain reliable reporting that supports internal decision-making and structured reviews with senior stakeholders.
* Technical reference: Act as the internal point of reference for platform-related technical matters; evaluate and integrate new tools where relevant.
What You’ll Need
Essential
* 2–4 years of experience in account management, commercial roles, or business consultancy, ideally within a fast-paced, data-driven environment (marketplace, e-commerce, food delivery, FMCG, travel, or similar).
* Demonstrated ability to manage commercial relationships and lead negotiations with measurable outcomes.
* Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with data, building reports, and turning numbers into business narratives.
* Understanding of P&L dynamics and the ability to connect operational decisions to financial results.
* Solid organisational skills: able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
* Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong judgement and a positive attitude.
* Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
* Experience with process mapping, workflow optimization, or automation tools (no-code or otherwise).
* Familiarity with CRM tools or BI platforms.
