Position Overview
The Visual Merchandiser Specialist will be responsible for maintaining high standards in all RL doors applying directives to the different assortments. He will partner with his manager to rotate WHLS Corners and Partner's doors to a supporting also showroom installations and new store opening across the region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Delivering creative and visual excellence
Plan the layout in advance following discussions with the management and sales team
Be fully knowledge of the guidelines etc. and implement these with high standards when working on your stores
Be creative with the product and tools at hand. Keeping in mind your account/customer profile/stock/location
Oversee the delivery of the brand visual proposition in store, ensuring that Seasonal Guidelines are adapted and creative solutions are offered to maximize layout and presentation.
Flexibility to be able to support all the Italy Region & Partner Territories markets channel, wholesale corners and stores.
Maintain all visual displays in store including mannequin styling, props and product
Rotations and frequencies to be followed and a weekly office day used effectively
Understand and achieve your seasonal rotation and frequencies of visits per door, per season
Plan in your calendar your movements at least 3 weeks in advance, plan in all doors that reflect your seasonal rotation, plan in your trips in advance to manage costs effectively
Make sure that Shop Visit Reports are uploaded a week after visit on your office day
Training and communication to staff and development of RL team
Inspire and motivate the staff in the corners/stores- you are their main point of contact to the RL world
Ensure that staff are inducted to RL either by you or the corner/store manager by providing the tools
Conduct agreed trainings, clinics, in your region, (as in your rotation)
Relationship with internal and external partners (Managers, Sales, Training, Account, and funded staff) in the corners/stores using effective feedback.
Build strong relationships with partners within the business stream for their rotations
Partner with sales to be proactive with delivery pre-season
Use effectively all tools to communicate about the region; email, phone, weekly meeting, WhatsApp etc.
Keep your manager well informed of all the aspects of your rotated corners/stores
Regularly communicate with the Brand Image xlwpduy Manager/Director and undertake any additional tasks set out by them
Achieve set financial goals for your rotation over the full year
Understand your retail sales and ST, per season
Communicate retail sales targets to our staff in corners/stores
Focus on high turnover corners/stores and prepare action plans for underperforming corner/stores Actively work on key learnings by macro regions (local vendors) to improve cost of stores/corners
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Demonstrates ability to balance maintenance and installations on a rolling calendar
Ability to conduct installations outside of standard working and retail store hours (i.e. evenings/ weekends)
Project Management / Organization skills: proven ability to prioritize, work to a punch list and hit aggressive deadlines with minimal direction
Communication skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in verbal conversation with, peers, supervisors and direct reports in English language
General computer proficiency to include Word, Excel, Power Point
Fluent English language in speaking and writing
