About The Role
We are looking for Business Development Managers based in Rome to be hired on a fixed-term contract. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding member of a growing, well‐funded company. You will collaborate with Italy's most premium restaurants and, reporting to the Sales Lead, focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What You'll Be Doing
Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‐level expert on up‐and‐coming restaurants.
Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
Communicate (physical visits, email, calls or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
Attend restaurant and food meet‐ups.
Requirements
Comfortable with targeting new business and with Sales experience.
Confidence in dealing with partners/customers face‐to‐face, by phone or email.
Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
Strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
Tenacity and persistence.
Selection Process
