PpGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. /p pWe are seeking a passionate and service-driven Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant, nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside at Tenuta Toscana. /p pThe ideal candidate will embody elegance, professionalism, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, ensuring a refined and memorable dining experience for our discerning international clientele, while celebrating the authentic flavours and warmth of Tuscan cuisine. /p pThis position will report directly to the FB Operations Manager, collaborating closely to maintain the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. /p h3Main duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liManage and execute service within the assigned section to oversee the service delivery in the assigned section, ensuring a flawless, personalized, and memorable experience for each guest, adhering to the highest standards of hospitality and refinement. /li liUphold the service philosophy of Tenuta Toscana by providing tailored recommendations and anticipating guest preferences, offering proactive, intuitive service to exceed expectations. /li liCoordinate with the culinary team to ensure that each course is delivered at the perfect temperature and presented impeccably, creating a seamless flow between kitchen and dining room. /li liEnhance the guest experience by offering expert wine pairings and insight into local Tuscan wines, engaging guests in a sophisticated yet relaxed conversation about the origins and characteristics of the selections. /li liMaintain the elegance of the dining environment by ensuring immaculate table settings, proper lighting, and a harmonious atmosphere that reflects the brand’s luxurious identity. /li liLead by example, guiding junior team members and commis with professionalism and grace, ensuring adherence to service standards, operational efficiency, and harmonious teamwork. /li liMentor new staff, offering hands‑on support and encouraging the development of service skills, product knowledge, and attentiveness to detail. /li liAssist in preparing shift schedules, adjusting staffing levels to meet operational demands, and ensuring optimal service during peak and off‑peak hours. /li liEnsure the careful handling, maintenance, and proper use of all restaurant equipment, adhering to operational protocols and maintaining a pristine and well‑organized environment. /li liFollow and enforce the HACCP guidelines and internal health and safety standards rigorously, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance and minimizing risks to both guests and staff. /li liDrive the financial performance of the restaurant by upselling signature dishes and wines, while also maintaining cost control through waste reduction and portion management. /li liFoster a collaborative environment by promoting a culture of respect, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring a team‑oriented approach to service. /li liExemplify professionalism and discretion in all guest interactions, consistently delivering superior service with attention to detail and a warm, welcoming demeanor. /li liPromote the values of Tenuta Toscana by upholding the highest ethical standards, ensuring that all guests are treated with respect and care, while fostering a team culture of mutual support and integrity. /li liMaintain the utmost confidentiality in all aspects of the role, including guest preferences, team matters, and any proprietary information regarding the operations of the resort and restaurant. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum of 3 years in a management role within a luxury hospitality or dining environment, preferably in a 5-star resort or hotel. /li liA degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is appreciated. /li liProven experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional service in a high‑pressure environment. /li liA passion for providing superior guest experiences with an attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guests’ needs. /li liIn‑depth understanding of dining and wine pairings. Experience with local Tuscan cuisine and wines is highly desirable. /li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Italian.
