Company
Our client, the Italian subsidiary of a leading French multinational and European market leader in probiotics and nutraceuticals, is currently looking for a National Account Manager.
Responsibilities
- Key contribution and support to execute a Retail Channel strategy to significantly establish a solid position in the Pharmacy Channel along the full value chain (managing pharmacies, co-operatives and wholesalers) in terms of relevance, visibility, market share and sales.
- Interact and execute commercial plans on Key Accounts nurturing a high standard of customer focus and satisfaction.
- Executing analysis, reporting and specific activities allowing to:
- Deploy commercial, trade and promo plans on Target accounts.
- Monitor execution of collaboration plans and activities with customers.
- Collaborate with Finance to propose the appropriate pricing by sub‐channel.
- Collaborate with Demand & Supply and Finance to match Forecast Accuracy.
- Establish a rigorous model to evaluate the ROI of every major initiative.
- Keep complexity low.
- Yearly negotiation with key customers, both on financial topics and collaboration actions / sell‐out tools.
- Identify new business opportunities, also in collaboration with external partners.
- Regularly monitor and reach sell‐in target.
- Regularly monitor performance and give key contribution to reach sell‐out target.
- Suggest actions for performance improvements.
- Scouting for new and right customers: starting relationship, managing negotiation and closing deals with positive ROI.
Qualifications
- Secondary School/Bachelor in Economics/Science.
- Availability to weekly travel.
- High learning agility (mental, results, change and people agility).
- Strong skills in execution and team player.
- Strong Negotiation skills.
- Financial acumen and agreements evaluation skills.
- Highly customer/stakeholder focused.
- Knowledge of health care distribution players and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of the Pharma Industry and Health Care Environment.
- Knowledge of the Trade Environment and/or PoS dynamics (category solutions considered a plus).
- Open for innovation and learning agility.

- Fluent Italian and English.
- Trade marketing experience is a plus.
- Scientific knowledge of the Supplements products and market is a plus.

- Knowledge of the detailing promotion models and market dynamics considered an advantage.
