Scope and purpose
The candidate will manage their own risk-taking strategies within an individual book, aiming for a yearly PnL greater than 2.0 million after establishing a precise risk framework with Management. They will also generate trade ideas and strategies that may be shared with colleagues and potentially deployed in one of the Equity Portfolio management books.
Experience required
From 6 to 10 years of autonomous risk-taking experience.
Skills and competences required
* The candidate should have a proven track record in Equity trading within a professional financial institution (banks, hedge funds, asset managers, etc.).
* Excellent top-down approach for EU markets; US market experience is a plus. Comfortable managing both Relative Value (RV) and outright equity strategies.
* Responsible for managing an individual trading book and actively participating in research and implementation of desk trading strategies.
* Bachelor's Degree in Financial Disciplines; Master’s degree and CFA certification are a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, especially in bottom-up analysis of individual stocks and sectors.
* Ability to develop new trading and hedging strategies and work on multiple projects; a team player within the desk.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver results consistently and on time.
* Programming skills (VBA, MATLAB, Python) are advantageous.
