It is indeed a challenging experience but surely a rewarding one!\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nCoordinate the culinary team and support the Executive Sous Chef in all culinary operations. \nSupport all the parties and coordinate the brigade during service. \nProcess orders in company systems, maintain relationship with the purchasing department and approved suppliers. \nReview production sheet to understand variety of goods to be produced daily. \nPrepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. \nMaintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance. \nKeep Chef informed of excess food items for planning of daily specials. \nSafely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods. \nCheck and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management. \nMonitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout the shift. \nAssist management in training, scheduling, evaluating and motivating employees; serve as a role model. \nEnsure compliance with safety training and certifications. \nFollow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines. \nComply with quality assurance expectations and standards. \nComply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies. \n\nWhat you’ll need: \n\nPassion for the luxury lifestyle hospitality and the culinary industry. \nA warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-player attitude. \nA safety-first approach. \nPositive outlook and dependability. \nPrevious experience in similar roles is an advantage. \n\nWhat we offer: \n\nA unique opportunity to be part of a luxury lifestyle hotel where we celebrate your unique talent. \nPart of Marriott International, the largest hospitality brand in the world- this means national and internal promotion opportunities for the right candidates.
