PCSF is seeking a bGuidance Counselor/Teacher /b for Grades 7-12 who will play a dual role in supporting student success. This individual will provide academic guidance, personal and career counseling. As a key member of the staff, they will contribute to the academic integrity, student wellbeing, and continuous improvement of the school. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbGuidance Counseling /b /pp• Provide academic and career guidance to students in Grades 7-12, supporting course selections, academic pathways,, graduation requirements, post-secondary applications and career planning. /pp• Monitor student progress, identify students at risk, and develop intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and parents. /pp• Organise university and college visits, information sessions, and career exploration activities. /ppbQualifications Requirements /b /pp• Qualified Teacher Status with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Ontario or equivalent). /pp• Ontario Guidance AQ, Part 1 (or equivalent certification in guidance counseling). /pp• Proven experience in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of student support services. /pp• In-depth knowledge of Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario Schools and experience implementing assessment and reporting policies. /pp• Strong ability to develop and support academic programs that foster student success. /pp• Demonstrated experience with academic and career counseling in a secondary school setting. /pp• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. /pp• Experience working in an international school setting is an asset. /pp• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple responsibilities with a student-centered approach. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
